Haiku: Winter’s Forager
This little guy and his mate live right outside my window. He has been known, as cardinals do, to fly into the window, but for the most part we “reside” peacefully together. On many days, usually around 10:00 AM, I can have as many as 10-14 male and female cardinals stop and eat and then disappear, but he never goes anywhere.
I can’t believe it is already day 11 of this challenge. I am sharing haikus from friends on Friday if anyone would like to contribute. I hope it is a wonderful day filled with captivating bird sightings.
