I took this photo at the Crystal Caves in Bermuda, last year. A year ago this week, I went to Bermuda for a vacation and was viewing photos of that trip. I came across this photo, remembering the vastness of this tree – the girth is bigger than a small car. We were told that this is a banyan tree…which means that roots of a tree grow on top of a tree and remain above ground as the tree’s root system is below ground. Very interesting to see – awesome, really.
