Did you ever experience one of those love-hate relationships with something? Of course you did. Having a cricket in the garage is one of those moments for me. I was sitting and typing the other day and heard the continued rhythm of a cricket in my garage. I saw it the night before, and chose to allow its presence, only to be serenaded for what seemed like hours the next day. At the same time that it was frustrating, it was kind of cool, too. Where I was sitting and what I heard was more defined, there was a cadence, there was an “after sound”, and what seemed almost like a tune. Thankfully today there is silence.
Anyways, crickets in my garage are always an indicator of changing seasons. Here we go, into fall.
