Friends’ Friday 36

I have a friend who recently started writing and sharing haiku as she viewed previous haiga posts on my blog.  I know she is a late night person, but the other night she evidently couldn’t sleep, because I think she shared nine different haiku in the comments sections of each of my blog posts.  Not only did she write so many, but what she wrote was wonderful.  Thanks so much Michele for writing and sharing.  I have chosen two of her recent haiku to share with you.  The photo accompanying the haiku was her prompt.  I encourage you to read the comment sections on the blog to read what other people write and share in response to the photo prompt.

Michele, I hope you are having fun, because it is certainly fun to receive your poetry and to be able to share it with others.  Enjoy!

  1. Thank you my dear friend for your kind words..I am having a lot of fun visiting each day (past and present) and reading your poetry..I love your pictures! I try to sit and view the entire picture..Allowing my mind to imagine freely..To see feel all that is happening in that picture..I then listen to my inner self…words racing around ..rushing to be formed.. to convey what inspires me .. Ok…I better stop now.. But anyway..I enjoy writing them and challenging myself to keep improving… I hope you have a great day..and hope to see you soon..HUGS!!

  2. And yes..I can’t I thought I would do something constructive with my time…I think I will try to close my eyes now and see what to you soon..
    Love ya!!

Would love to hear from you...
