Quiescent Mind
We were recently driving the back roads up through Virginia, slowly meandering home from Myrtle Beach – a getting lost on purpose kind of day…and we came upon this small fishing village at a dead-end road. The scene was so serene. The clouds were setting in for a terrific storm, but at the moment there was such stillness – so we took a picture.
I hope today you will have time for a few minutes of quiescent mind.

I’ve always wanted to live in a place like this…but then I think I’d see a photo of something else and want to live there… 😉 It’s just so peaceful…and seemingly simple (in a good way). 🙂
I know what you mean…and then every once in a while I need to go to the chaos of Manhattan. Good to hear from you. I hope you are well.
We are doing well, thank you. And you seem to be enjoying a peaceful summer, traveling to some lovely places! 🙂
I try to enjoy wherever I am…and I try to go wherever, yes…glad to hear – say hello to all…including your mom…thanks for stopping by.
I remember when we would get lost on the way home and do our own exploring!! I miss that… I have fond memories of us driving different places and traveling off the beaten path… 🙂
I love being off the beaten path. I know we did it often. Now it is football, baseball, and miniature golf, huh? I miss those days too.
Some weekend we have to do it again SOON!!!! I’m ready!!
Can we at least do lunch? I’m ready!!
Hi Kris, How beautiful. Blessings, Ellen
Thanks, Ellen, so good to hear from you.
