I took the creative liberties with this haiga. I lay in silence in the middle of the night the other night, and all I could hear was my heartbeat in my ears. In that silence, the beat sounded most exaggerated-ly (another liberty in creating a word out of a word) loud. In some way, it was a safe peace, almost meditative in nature, complete. I wrote this haiga – it came out, in a way, to honor or to commemorate the moment.
May you experience a peace today that surpasses all understanding…and as we know, that understanding is growing, so that is a big peace…smile.
