Kayak In Storage
We have more Spring now than we have had for almost a month. Cool 50’s, sweater weather – my kind of weather. I really should live in Maine or the northwest. This photo was taken at Blue Marsh Lake in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Blue Marsh is a man-made lake created for flood management. They lower the lake each year to receive the mountain snows (which nowhere on the east coast did we really have)… The lake has a whole different look when the waters are low. Love to kayak, but it is too cold on the backside for me.

Serene and hopeful. We watch the Lake Michigan lake levels. They have varied a lot these past many years. Now they are lower.

There’s something about water that is so soothing. I love to canoe but have never been in a kayak. Actually, I love water better by observing from the shore than being on it…I think I’m a little afraid. Enjoy your cool weather! Soon it will be much warmer 🙂
