Tumbling Waters – Haiku
I can hardly believe this is winter in Pennsylvania. I miss the snow. On the way to look at the blue heron nests the other day, I stopped and took some photos of this tumbling brook. This is in the backyard of a nearby home, and I imagine how beautiful it must be for the residents to sit and have a cup of tea as they listen to the spilling waters.
Our desire is to flow downstream with our efforts and intentions, versus paddling like anything to try to stay upstream. I speak these thoughts with those I meet, and I try to live them myself. That was the inspiration for this haiku. Hope it is a downstream day.
